Online Giving is made possible through the use of PayPal. There are two ways to give. One way is to click on one of the three donate buttons below. When you click on one of the items below, PayPal will automatically note what area you are giving to. For instance, if you click on the button under Mission and Ministries, your payment will automatically go towards Mission and Ministries. The other option to give is to CLICK HERE and then specify where you would like the gift to go in the "Purpose of Donation" section during checkout.
PayPal charges PVUMC a small processing fee per online gift, 2.2% plus .30 cents. As part of your online offering, you may wish to add an additional amount to cover these expenses. Otherwise, when you receive a report of your giving from PVUMC, it will show the amount given less the small fee. If you wish to avoid the fee deduction from your gift, please give directly to the church and do not give online.
Contribute to our Mission and Ministries apportionment. This money goes to the United Methodist Church who then uses it to fund Methodist ministries around Kansas and around the world. We have almost met our Mission and Ministries payment for 2010. Because PVUMC has been faithful in our payment of M and M's we have less than $4,000 to pay over the next two months. IGNITING LEADERS
Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church embarked on a three year debt-reduction campaign to free the church to expand the resources for ministry in the future. To date, the “Igniting Leaders Campaign” has helped reduce the one time 1.2 million dollar debt to under $400,000 since May of 2008. We believe God is truly doing something great with this church as we pay down the debt which was created when Pleasant Valley UMC expanded its facilities and remodeled the Sanctuary and Education Wing.
