Each month, our committee shops for the ingredients, prepares and serves a fresh, hot meal and dessert for about 90 adults at the Drop-In Center in downtown Wichita. Our Pleasant Valley youth group even takes on this project during spring break. (Read more)

Ongoing food drives of non-perishable food items are organized by the Mission and Service Committee. Members also insure that donated items reach the Open Door outreach center in a timely manner for distribution to those in need. The Open Door Klothes Kloset also provides clothing for those in need.
